I hate it here. I miss New York. I hate it here.
You know, sometimes I really wouldn't mind living in a castle – or at least working out of one. Then the amount of people I'd have to deal with would be substantially limited. I swear, for every one likable person I meet here in LA, I meet at least twenty more morons. How do people live in this city, let alone function in it? I really don't understand. At all. I hate it here.

... Well. That was unexpected.
Looks like I have to move to LA within the next two weeks. Otherwise someone else gets my job. Such is the nature of a promotion, hm? Ah, well. At least I'll have more creative freedom in my new position on the West Coast. Everyone who works in fashion knows that, unless you're one of the big names, that's practically nonexistent here in New York. Happy thoughts, Addy. This is not a bad thing. You're uprooting your entire life, but at least you're getting paid more.
Ugh.

So. This thing isn't much of a secret anymore, is it? With cities like Gotham and Metropolis and their citizens showing up, it's only a matter of time before fictional designers join the ranks of my competition. As if I didn't have my work cut out for me before.
But speaking of cities, the only fairy tale castle out there is in Disneyworld, right? Let's hope it stays that way. I want that castle just as much as I want this stupid shoe. Which is not at all, in case cynicism doesn't translate. It hardly ever does.
